Yes, however a variety of refreshment options are available to you within the racecourse grounds.


When buying your tickets in advance on the France Galop ticketing website, you have the guarantee to access the best seats and benefit from the lowest rates, with rates down to 40% vs. the regular rate (Regular rate : rate applied to ticket purchase at the gates of the racecourse).

As a general rule, ticket sales open at least one month before the Meeting concerned. Nevertheless, France Galop suggests you regularly check the Meeting’s website and/or sign up to “Ticketing alerts” on the Meeting’s Ticketing page.

By choosing to buy your ticket at the gates, the day of the event, you run the risk that there are no more tickets available in the category of your choice and you will not benefit from the lowest rate.

The following people can benefit from discounted entry to the racecourse: 

  • Students
  • Seniors over the age of 60
  • Jobseekers
  • Reduced mobility accompanying 
  • Club France Galop cardholders (sundays)


The following people can benefit from free General Entrance to the racecourse:

  • Children aged under 18 yrs
  • People with reduced mobility
  • PMU cardholders (in village for Prix de Diane & Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe)
  • Club France Galop cardholders (during the week & saturdays)

YES, your student status means that you can benefit from a discounted rate.

Yes, for security reasons (Law Alliot-Marie 1993) all persons entering the racecourse must be in possession of a ticket, regardless of their age. However, children under the age of 12 will be granted access to the site free of charge (General Entrance only).

We strive to offer you the best possible experience at our events and that is why the number of tickets may be limited in certain categories (example : only 5,000 tickets available at "Village ParisLongchamp" for the Grand Opening of ParisLongchamp on April 29, 2018). By regularly visiting our ticketing website, you will have every chance to get tickets for our events at the lowest rate.

The "Village ParisLongchamp" area covers the "Jardin de Suresnes", the promenade and the lawn by the track, after the finishing post. You will enjoy a wide array of entertainment and food offer (restaurant, food trucks, etc.) for the entire family.

On some of our events, certain categories of tickets may give access to one or more areas in the racecourse. To facilite your choice when reserving your ticket, these areas are clearly identified and described in the presentation of the offer. They are also featured on your ticket to help you circulate in the racecourse during the event.

The Ticket Hotline is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm. As a general rule, on race days the racecourse ticket windows open at 10am (or 11.30am at the latest).


Tickets are strictly personal, and can therefore not be used by anyone else.

All purchases are final. A purchased Ticket cannot be handed back, exchanged or resold (see sales conditions on the back of the Ticket).

To print out your Tickets at home, please do the following:

1) Visit the website
2) Sign into your client account by clicking on “My account”
3) Select the tickets you wish to print out in “My tickets”
4) Print the document sent to your printer, ensuring that the whole ticket and its barcodes are clearly visible.


As a general rule, there will only be a shuttle bus service from the Porte d'Auteuil/Porte Maillot to the racecourse and back.

A ticket controller will come over to you and look into what the problem might be.

As a general rule, the racecourse opens its gates at around 12 noon (except when the Meeting requires the gates to open sooner/later). If you are attending one of our Grand Prix events, check the event website for the racecourse opening times.

For security reasons, once you have left the racecourse you will not be allowed back in.


The cloakrooms are located by the main entrance of each Racecourse. Items can be left free of charge in exchange for a numbered ticket.

Lost property is taken to the Racecourse Reception/Information Point, located by the main entrance. After a week, items that have not been claimed are sent to the lost and found section of the local police station.


Visitors are prohibited from bringing the following items into the grounds:


  • pyrotechnics
  • explosives
  • bottles
  • tin cans
  • glassware
  • alcoholic drinks
  • weapons (of whatever type)
  • tools (of whatever nature and for whatever use)
  • safety footwear (metal toe-caps)
  • more generally, any object that might serve as a weapon
  • helmets
  • foghorns
  • rigid poles or handles
  • large bags (rucksacks, sports bags, suitcases, etc.)
  • animals (with the exception of guide dogs)
  • video cameras
  • materials/supports with a political, ideological, philosophical or commercial purpose designed to be shown to third parties

Smoking is permitted within the racecourse grounds, except inside the buildings (brasserie, lounge, public hall, etc.). However, we do ask you to take the comfort those around you into consideration!

Only small cameras are permitted. Professional or semi-professional cameras (e.g. with an interchangeable lens, etc.) are not permitted within the grounds. Please note: The use of the reference or of images, photos and/or videos of a racecourse is subject to conditions regarding intellectual property rights. Visual and/or audio shots and visual and/or audio recordings are not permitted within the grounds, except when prior authorisation has been given by the Operator and/or the Organiser. .

First, you should contact the security personnel present on the racecourse, who will follow procedure by taking the child to the security office. Where necessary, and in all cases after the site has closed, the lost child will be entrusted to the closest Police Station to the racecourse.
