Artists, pick up your brushes!
For one day only, the Saint-Cloud racecourse transforms into an open-air artist’s studio!
On Sunday 5th July, artists registered for the painting competition will be able to set up at the racecourse from 9:00am to begin their work.
Inspired by the setting and the spectacle of horse racing, participants must complete their piece by 4:30pm to submit it for judging.
A jury will evaluate the entries and award prizes.

HORSESHOE DECORATING
At our “Blacksmith” workshop, young apprentices are invited to let their creative juices flow. The budding artists can customise horseshoes with ribbons, glitter, ink stamps and many other surprises.
The children will sit at a table to decorate their horseshoes and can take their creation home with them.
GIANT COLOURING POSTER
On every Family Race Day, a giant horse-themed poster will be laid out for the children. Using colouring pencils, the children are invited to help bring this poster to life.
Dive into the world of horse racing with our mascot, Lili the Unicorn! On each event date, children will have the chance to meet this magical creature and share unforgettable moments at the racecourse with the whole family. Come and meet her!
The Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud is reserved for experienced racehorses aged 4 and over. It is run over the classic mile-and-a-half distance, just like the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, the world’s greatest horse race.
For these top-class racehorses, the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud is a warm-up for this major international event, which will be held, as every year, at ParisLongchamp racecourse.
The Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud is part of the Arc Races circuit, a selection of the finest French races whose winners receive a true golden ticket – a Wild Card entry to the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, the most iconic race in world flat racing.
Through eight prestigious races, France Galop offers a captivating journey leading up to the Arc, with direct entry to the “World Championship of Thoroughbreds” and reimbursement of the race entry fees at stake. A unique initiative designed to keep the excitement building throughout the season.
