It is an opportunity to let your sense of style shine through, by wearing daring yet refined outfits. The hat, an essential accessory at the races, becomes an eye-catching asset that makes all the difference. This contest rewards both fashion sense and imagination, for a parade full of creativity and grace.

This year once again, the Prix de Diane Longines elegance contest includes two award categories: most elegant lady and most elegant duo.

On your own or with your partner, friend or family member, let your innate style shine through and stand out from the crowd.

Registration is free and takes place on site until 1.00 pm.

Arc Races – a ticket to legend!

The Prix de Diane Longines is part of the Arc Races circuit, a selection of the finest French races whose winners receive a true golden ticket – a Wild Card entry to the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, the most iconic race in world flat racing.

Through eight prestigious races, France Galop offers a captivating journey leading up to the Arc, with direct entry to the “World Championship of Thoroughbreds” and reimbursement of the race entry fees at stake. A unique initiative designed to keep the excitement building throughout the season.

The world’s greatest filly race has always been held in the birthplace of Chantilly racing. It all began in Chantilly!

In 1833, Prince Lobanoff and Messrs de Normandie, d’Hédouville, de Wagram and de Plaisance were on their way to a hunt.

On the way, they crossed a vast plain on horseback, stretching out in front of the Château de Chantilly and its Grandes Écuries. They noted the suppleness of the terrain and tested it in a friendly race won by Mr de Normandie, the future president of the Jockey Club.

These men had been seduced by English racing and were looking in vain for the ideal site to set up a racecourse capable of rivalling those in England. M de Normandie managed to secure the support of the Duc d’Orléans – one of Louis-Philippe’s sons and also a racing enthusiast – and they agreed to organise a race meeting the following spring. The Chantilly racecourse and its unique setting were launched!

Not far from the racecourse, the forest of Chantilly is home to the largest training centre dedicated to racehorses. Every morning, horses and trainers go out to exercise on the tracks maintained by France Galop.

This is where the champions prepare for competition.

Diane’s Table is a private enclosure, ideal for enjoying a refined lunch with exceptional views of the winning post.

This year, the atmosphere is being transformed into an enchanting universe: majestic birds will decorate the space, immersing guests into a dreamlike aviary populated by extraordinary creatures.

On the edge of the course, this new private enclosure invites racegoers to enjoy a convivial experience with their friends or family.

In the shade of a parasol in the event’s colours (free of charge), tuck into your picnic or give in to temptation and savour the menu concocted by Ladurée, which is presented in an elegant hat box hamper.

A brand new way of experiencing racing, right on the turf and up close to the action. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

In Diane’s Village, gastronomy takes pride of place with a carefully-designed food court to titillate the racegoers’ taste buds.

The space offers a wide variety of delicious refreshments in the very heart of the event.

If you are bringing your own picnic, please bring some wooden/bamboo cutlery. Other cutlery will be left in a locker on your arrival.
